What the hell. Have one more.
That’s the end of Positronica. I’ll be uploading the album to bandcamp this weekend, hopefully, and I’ll keep you posted on what I’m working on next.

I like Positronica a lot! It’s definitely a change from DATUM, which seemed to me to have more slower paced songs. You’ve also done a good job of giving each song a personal “feel” – the first three to four songs of Just Noise seemed to me to suffer from the “(Cross) effect”, which if you’ve never listened to it, is an album by Justice that more or less functions as one really long song. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but I like to be able to pick favorites out of an album. I feel like on Positronica you’ve managed to combine the best parts of both previous albums.
oh yeah, and does the changing album covers signify anything, or did you just want to use all the artwork?
A little bit of both. I did want to use all the art I had, because I am very indecisive when it comes to things like that, but I also tried to group the songs under art so that each piece of art has an arc to it; I didn’t want to have too many slow tracks in a row.
Writing music is very much a learning experience for me, and I’m glad to hear that it’s working! Thanks for listening.
